What We Do
Introduction to What we do
Education & Outreach
Everyone should have the arts in their life – no matter who they are or where they live.
Our Glasgow-wide youth arts programme is free, inclusive and delivered where young people already are – community halls, schools, libraries.
Alongside our youth theatre groups, we run arts academies, youth hubs, schools tours and issue-based projects that use creativity to build skills, confidence and belonging, reaching 180–220 young people every week.
Young people don’t just take part – they help shape what we do. Our youth steering groups and Youth Symposiums give participants a real say in how sessions run, what themes we explore, and where the programme goes next.
See what’s running right now on our Current Projects page.
Projects, Productions & Events
We’re known for inclusive, accessible community events that put people first. Free where possible, and always designed so that cost, access or confidence aren’t the reason someone stays home.
Every event is built with the people who live there. We work alongside community councils, local groups, schools and artists, bringing in performers, musicians, dancers and visual artists from the communities we’re working in wherever we can.
And we do the whole thing ourselves. Staging, sound, lighting, performers, stewarding, safety planning and licensing, from first conversation to final get-out.
Commission Halo Arts
We’re one of Scotland’s only community production companies offering a true one-stop shop: the ideas, the people, the equipment and the end product. Whether you need a full festival programmed or two arts facilitators for a Tuesday, one team handles it.
