What We Do

Education & Outreach

We believe that everyone should have the arts in their lives – no matter who they are or where they live.

It is our aim to help individuals, groups and communities thrive through involvement in the arts.

Halo Arts have become well known for our award winning, Glasgow wide youth arts program, which reaches over 250 young people per week.

As well as our robust youth theatre programme, comprising 9 groups across South and West Glasgow, we deliver a range of year-round projects such as our Arts Academies, Youth Arts Hubs, schools tours, issue based projects and our popular annual Community Pantomime Project, which reaches over 18,000 people across the city each year.

Through the arts, we give young people the chance to explore new ideas, develop performance skill, gain confidence, and broaden their perspectives.

Projects, Productions & Events

Halo Arts have become known for our innovative, inclusive and accessible community events and productions which take place across Glasgow

Our events are mostly free, with a big focus on accessibility, reaching thousands of people and addressing a strong current need within communities to renew social connections after a challenging few years.

Our events programme, which is delivered mostly in collaboration and partnership with local groups, community councils and artists, give us the opportunity to showcase the best of our community and very importantly regenerate confidence, create prosperity and build heathy and positive community connections.

From arts festivals and community galas to parades and Christmas light switch on; Halo Arts have a track record for delivering high quality, inclusive events which put the community front and centre.

Recent events have included:

  • St Andrew’s Day Torchlight Parade
  • Hamilton Christmas Festival
